Kyiv became the city in Ukraine where the enemy directed a total of 38% of all its cruise missiles launched against Ukraine in the first quarter of 2024.
This is evidenced by the statistics for the first quarter of 2024 announced by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.

It is noted that since the beginning of 2024, the russians have used more than 180 means of destruction in the direction of Kyiv:
- 113 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 1 Kalibr cruise missile;
- 3 Kh-69 cruise missiles;
- 48 Shahed attack drones;
- 11 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles;
- 6 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
- 5 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missiles.
If we compare these data with the reports of the Ukrainian Air Force Command, the calculation of which was conducted by Defense Express, then since the beginning of the year, russia has launched a total of 307 cruise missiles against Ukraine: 295 of the Kh-555/101 type, 8 Kalibr, and 4 R-500 with Iskander-K.
Therefore, for the attack on Kyiv, the enemy directed 37.1% of all its launched cruise missiles in the first quarter of 2024.
Mentioning the enemy's use of as many as five truly 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missiles can be interesting. At the same time, only two instances of their use by the enemy were officially known: during the attack on February 7 with one missile and on March 25, when the enemy deployed two 3M22 Zircon missiles.
Thus, russia struck Kyiv with Zircon more frequently than was believed, but it could well have been passing through the Air Force reports like other ballistic missiles.
Because in any case, precise identification of missiles is often conducted much later, so in the morning report, certain types of missiles are often listed variably, for example, Iskander/S-300/S-400/KN-23.
