Defense Express learned about this from its own sources.

In particular, according to the message of the Air Force Command, during one of the waves of the attack at 7 am, the Russians launched 17 cruise missiles of the Kh-101 and Kh-555 types and another 16 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles. It was possible to shoot down 18 of them. Also, there are enough photos of the wreckage of downed cruise missiles on the Internet, but it is not yet possible to say for sure which of them was launched this year.
At the same time, the information that the russian federation began using the X-101 missiles, which was manufactured already after the introduction of sanctions, has two aspects that should be paid attention to.
First of all, the use of such fresh missiles indicates a real depletion of stocks and they immediately go to the troops from the production line. This is a good thing, given that it may indicate that the stockpile of this type of missile is running out.
Secondly, this may indicate that the russian federation retained the possibility of producing X-101 missiles in April-June, despite the international sanctions imposed against the aggressor country due to its unprovoked aggression against Ukraine. However, it should be noted that the sanctioned components could well have been purchased by Russian missile manufacturers in advance.
We will remind that according to the information made public by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, as of October 12, the Russian Federation had 213 Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles out of 444 units that were available as of February 23.
As Defense Express reported, Ukrainians has been under several waves of russia’s missile attacks on Saturday, October 22.
The attacks continue russia's most recent terror campaign to target civilian energy facilities across Ukraine, that could be classified as war crimes. Having started on October 10, the attacks have shut down 30% of Ukraine's energy infrastructure, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.
