At 7 a.m., Russia started a massive missile attack on the critical energy infrastructure all across Ukraine. Energy facilities have been hit in Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Volyn, Odesa, Kirovohrad oblasts.
Soon after, governors of the southern Odesa Oblast and central Kirovohrad Oblast also reported strikes on energy facilities. Meanwhile, authorities in Kyiv Oblast and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast reported power outages.

Acccording to The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at least ten Tu-160 and Tu-95 strategic bombers took off from the Volgodonsk district of Rostov region to launch their missiles.
A total of 17 Kh-101 (Kh-555) cruise missiles were launched. In addition, the Russians warships attacked Ukraine with a salvo of 16 Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea.
In the areas of responsibility of Air Command South, Air Command Center, and Air Command West of Ukraine’s Air Force, airplanes, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile groups destroyed 18 Russian cruise missiles: 13 X-101/X-555s and five Kalibrs.
Allegedly 12 missiles reached their targets.
According to the Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, as a result of the missile attacks, 672 000 consumers were disconnected from electricity supply in Khmelnytskyi region, 188 400 in Mykolaiv region, 102 000 in Volyn region, 242 000 thousand in Cherkasy region, 174 790 in Rivne region, 61 913 in Kirovohrad region, 10,500 consumers in Odesa region.
The attacks continue russia's most recent campaign to target civilian energy facilities across Ukraine. Having started on October 10, the attacks have shut down 30% of Ukraine's energy infrastructure, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.
