The latest phase of development for the DELTA system involves the integration of various drone types and tools for operators to plan their work effectively, Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, reports.
Drone data will be securely transmitted to DELTA, along with tools for commanders to plan crew operations and manage drone frequencies. This groundbreaking advancement, showcased by Ukrainian developers from the Ministry of Defense’s Innovation Center at the NATO TIDE Sprint 2024 conference in Dresden, is unparalleled globally.

On the battlefield, soldiers can securely integrate into battle management systems, especially within DELTA, while their commanders gain a comprehensive view of the battlefield and drone locations, facilitating informed decision-making. This integration aims to reduce friendly fire incidents involving drones and optimize drone production by understanding frequency requirements.
Ukraine takes pride in being the first country to actively employ drones in warfare and integrate them into situational awareness systems. This pioneering approach establishes Ukraine as a leader in defense technology innovation worldwide.
DELTA, developed by the Ministry of Defense following NATO standards, serves as the sole platform consolidating enemy information from aerial reconnaissance, satellites, drones, stationary cameras, radars, chatbots and more, providing real-time battlefield insights. Having successfully passed NATO tests last year, DELTA is prepared to integrate Western equipment seamlessly.
The system undergoes continuous updates with new technologies to ensure defenders have access to critical real-time battlefield information.
