The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has announced that its personnel are undergoing training on the DITA 155-mm wheeled self-propelled artillery system. This advanced weaponry, provided by the Czech Republic, is expected to bolster the capabilities of Ukrainian forces in their fight against russian aggression.
The DITA system sets a new standard in automation and efficiency. Both loading and targeting processes are fully automated, enabling operation by a minimal crew of just two individuals. Its fire control system simplifies the process: the operator inputs target coordinates, and the onboard computer calculates all necessary firing parameters. This automation not only enhances accuracy but also ensures an exceptional firing speed.
