The Ministry of Defense approves the Dzura vehicle, designed for diverse tactical operations

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have expanded their fleet with a new domestically developed armored vehicle. The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the use of the Dzura armored vehicle, which is designed for various tactical tasks.

The Dzura vehicle is built on the chassis of the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 and features a specially developed armored capsule that provides ballistic protection for personnel against small arms fire. The design of this capsule allows for the installation of a machine gun on a turret.

This light armored vehicle is compact and relatively lightweight, enhancing its off-road capability. Ukrainian engineers have also reinforced the vehicle’s suspension, and it boasts a range of over 650 km.

The armored vehicle can be produced in different configurations to suit various purposes, such as reconnaissance and patrol, logistics tasks, evacuation of the wounded and more.
