The Ukrainian military has been using American 155-mm M777 howitzers on the battlefield for more than a yea. The howitzers are quite effective in destroying the enemy, particularly in the hands of a separate artillery brigade of the the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The publication ArmiyaInform communicated with the members of one of the howitzers team, which "tirelessly hunts the occupiers."
Howitzer commander Oleksandr notes an interesting detail - he notes that in recent days the M777 155-mm towed howitzer has mainly been working on the enemy's manpower and is focused on destroying the invaders, although it also, for example, carries out counter-battery combat to eliminate enemy artillery.

In addition to destroying the enemy, an important task for artillerymen today is to find good positions and camouflage them, because the occupiers are constantly hunting Ukrainian artillery positions.
Separately, the commander of the howitzer draws attention to the issue of protection against the russian the Lancet loitering munitions, which "often circles" over Ukrainian positions.
"We have taken certain precautionary measures, such as an iron grid. We have received the coordinates, we are ready to fire. My team is coordinated, every element has been worked out to automaticity, everything will be fast," Oleksandr notes.
We will remind, earlier the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted that, according to intelligence, the russian federation is increasing the production of its Lancet-type loitering munitions, which actually create problems on the battlefield.
