Lithuania’s Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas wrote on Twitter that his country is preparing a new batch of military aid for Ukraine. This package includes the supply of 20 M113 tracked armored personnel carriers, 10 military trucks and 10 SUVs, which can be used by sappers to demine the territory of our state. This equipment from Lithuania will soon be delivered to Ukraine.

According to The Military Balance as of 2021, the Armed Forces of Lithuania have 234 M113A1 tracked armored personnel carriers at disposal. Thus in one package Lithuania will give about 10% of their armored personnel carrier fleet to Ukraine. It would be enough to staff one mechanized company.
