Fakes from the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation acquire comical (and cosmic) proportions

In the statements, the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation continues to spread fakes about the destroyed Ukrainian weapons. Very often the statements of the defense departent are not only untrue, but also frankly ridiculous.

For example, yesterday, July 9, the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation reported that two Su-25 attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shot down by russia’s Su-35S and MiG-31BM in the Mykolaiv region.

At the same time, MilitaryAviationInUa decided to count how many planes of this type were shot down according to the statements of the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation since the beginning of the full-scale war. As it turned out - as many as 70.

At the same time, according to the data provided by the World Air Forces 2022 guide, as of 2021, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had only 17 (!) Su-25 attack aircraft in their assets, which is more than four times less than the the number of “downed” Ukraine’s Su-25.

However, according to the Military Balance guide data as of 2021, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had 31 such aircraft - which is still more than two times more than the claimed russia’s figures.

That is, with fakes about the Su-25, the russia's propaganda even surpassed their fakes about the Bayraktar TB2, which they claimed to have destroyed more than 80 units of this UAV, when there are approximately 70 of them in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
