Ukrainian Defense Tech development support cluster, Brave1, has announced its search of solutions to counter FPV and commercial drones.
Brave1 emphasized the transformative impact of FPV and commercial drones on modern warfare, citing not only their use in targeting expensive equipment but also adversaries. Hence, the need for robust protection and countermeasures is paramount.

The cluster is actively seeking solutions and collaborations with teams and developers in the following areas:
Countermeasures against FPV drones:
- Detection technologies;
- Physical destruction methods and/or active defense systems;
- Means of influencing ELRS and TBS control protocols across a broad spectrum, including non-standard frequencies and firmware manipulation.
Countermeasures against commercial drones:
- Detection strategies targeting DJI, Autel UAVs and their modified or anonymized variants;
- Physical means to neutralize commercial drones;
- Disruption of missions by manipulating DJI, Autel UAVs and their modified control protocols.
