The Ukrainian Air Force released drone footage depicting the successful destruction of a russian command post situated on a tanker

Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, expressed gratitude to Ukrainian pilots who delivered a precision strike on an enemy command post located in a rather exotic location - a civilian cargo ship washed ashore.

A powerful aviation munition, possibly French AASM Hammer missiles recently received by Ukraine from France, was used to strike. As a result, the superstructure of the ship was shattered.

And despite the fact that the location of the strike is not disclosed, it is relatively easy to reconstruct the events because it concerns the Dnipro Estuary near the village of Vynohradne.

Also, thanks to publicly available satellite imagery, it is possible to determine when exactly this ship appeared in this location. It is during the period between June 3 and June 8, 2023.

Considering the events that were happening at that time, this ship washed ashore after the detonation of the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant by the occupying forces on June 6, 2023.

Thus, this ship has been located on the enemy-controlled left bank of the Dnipro, approximately 6 km from the nearest point of the right bank of the Dnipro Estuary, all this time. However, after the Ukrainian Air Force strike, it's unlikely that the enemy will be able to use it.

Moreover, the use of precisely an airstrike may indicate that some important person unexpectedly appeared on this ship, meaning that the strike needed to be delivered very quickly and with maximum force.
