Ukrspecsystems drones have been battle-tested in extremely difficult conditions. Western countries are interested in acquiring such models for their armed forces, but production currently prioritizes the Ukrainian military

The UK's Shadow Defense Secretary, James Cartridge, who used to be Procurement Minister, visited the new factory of Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems and shared the first video of the facility on X social media.

"Fantastic to visit Ukrspecsystem's new drone factory – investing in Suffolk to build drones for Ukraine's war effort," he emphasized in his post, noting that as Procurement Minister, he contributed to the development of industrial cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

At the same time, Ukrspecsystems stressed that their team is focused on developing advanced defense capabilities, supporting the economies of both countries, and accelerating technologies that play a crucial role on today's battlefield.

"We are looking forward to the next stages of this cooperation," Ukrspetsystems notes. It is stated that the company is waiting for legal approvals and is set to expand joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles.

In June this year, it was announced that Ukraine and the United Kingdom had agreed to jointly produce Ukrainian drones with British funding, with the condition that all products will go to the Ukrainian Armed Forces while the war continues. The agreement is set to last at least three years.

At the same time, plans to build a Ukrspecsystems plant in the UK became known in September this year. The investment is estimated at £200 million, with production facilities spanning 11,000 square meters and creating up to 500 jobs.

At that time, it was reported that specialist recruitment would continue until year-end, with serial production of unmanned aerial vehicles set to begin early next year.
