ZALA UAVs are capable of conducting deep reconnaissance missions at ranges of up to 150 kilometers and altitudes of up to 5 kilometers, providing precise targeting data for russian artillery units and command posts. However, even such advanced technology is no match for the coordinated work of Ukraine’s air defense teams.

The brigade noted that this is far from the first “flight lesson” delivered to enemy drones. Two months earlier, the FPV drone team Kolibri from the same battalion destroyed two russian Supercam drones within two days. This regular success highlights the battalion’s systematic approach to countering russian aerial reconnaissance.

The unit is also known for its creative approach to recognition. Each successful air defender receives a personalized poster in the style of a Hollywood action movie.

“Our guys are the real heroes of battlefield blockbusters. Every downed drone means lives saved, defensive positions secured, and a clear message to the enemy: we see you, and we respond,” the brigade stated.
