​Ukrainian Scouts Hit Three russian Radars in Temporarily Occupied Crimea

It is known that two Podlet radars as well as Kasta-2E2 radar were hit

Expensive russian radars were destroyed on the territory of the Crimean peninsula as a result of an operation by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. This was reported on Saturday, November 30, by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

This refers to the destruction of two Podlet radars and Kasta-2E2 radar on November 29. The cost of the Kasta-2E2 starts at $60 million. In fact, these radars are the "eyes" of russian air defense, capable of detecting targets at a distance of up to 300 km.

Podlet radar is also expensive: its price is more than $5 million. It operates at low altitudes. russians typically use the Podlet radar to detect targets and transmit coordinates to S-300/S-400 air defense missile systems.
