During its offensive, the russian army has really great losses, which are eloquently shown by photos and videos of destroyed enemy equipment

The russian occupation army suffered significant losses in weapons and military equipment During its offensive in the Avdiivka direction. For example, on the northern face of the Avdiivka ledge, the occupiers lost at least 63 (!) units of various weapons and equipment, most of which were hit or destroyed by the Defense Forces of Ukrine in the Krasnohorivka area, in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region, and at the entrance to the settlement.

Such data are provided by DeepState analysts, who analyzed satellite images and calculated enemy losses on only one small section of the front. Taking into account such an insane amount of lost equipment, it can be assumed that the loss of manpower reaches hundreds of russian soldiers.

We will remind that the offensive actions in the Avdiyivka direction intensified from the morning of October 10, when the occupiers began their attempts to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And already four days later, on October 14, it was noted that due to insane losses in armored vehicles, the russian army was forced to switch to infantry assaults.

After all, the russian troop's need for armored vehicles in this direction was so acute that the occupiers threw even such rare weapons as the BTR-90 APC, of which the russian federation has only a few units as well as their outdated BTR-50 APCs — it was near Avdiivka that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed such an enemy vehicle for the first time.

If we take the total losses of the troops during this period, then according to Ukraine’s General Staff data, from the morning of October 10 to the morning of October 18, the occupiers lost 152 tanks, 291 combat armored vehicles, as well as 217 artillery systems.

Comparing these figures with the losses of the occupiers from the morning of October 10 to the morning of October 14, you can see that the statistics speak for themselves. It was during these four days that the main losses of the occupiers occurred from the beginning of the intensification of the enemy's offensive actions.

"A little degree of tension in our direction has subsided, but we understand that this is not the end of either this war or the counteroffensive, as they called it, in the Avdiivka direction. The enemy is regrouping and we understand that there will be a new wave of escalation in the near future." he noted.
