The sudden appearance of Ukrainian lodgements on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region has caught the russian forces off guard, triggering a degree of panic among their ranks. This was revealed by Andrii Cherniak, a representative of the Defense of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in a comment to LIGA.net.
“We are now witnessing some panic among the russians due to the presence of the Ukrainian units on the left bank of the Kherson region,” Andrii Cherniak explained, adding that the russian forces are actively regrouping and attempting to bring in new formations.

He further stated that the enemy’s initial plan was to hold onto the captured territories with their existing forces and resources.
According to military expert Oleksii Hetman, the establishment of Ukrainian lodgements on the left bank of the Kherson region was made possible by meticulous planning and well-trained personnel.
“Our sabotage and reconnaissance groups were operating there for nearly half a year before the marines began their operations,” Oleksii Hetman disclosed.
The occupation forces were initially unaware of the Armed Forces of Ukraine crossing of the bridgehead, as Ukrainian fighters initially kept the enemy on edge by conducting regular sorties.
Hetman noted that this strategy effectively lulled the enemy into a false sense of security, leading them to dismiss the appearance of Ukrainian soldiers as yet another sabotage activity.
