The Kremlin expected to replenish the losses of equipment in Ukraine with reserve stock vehicles, but most of those machines are not in a functional state

Defense Intelligence of Ukraine has shared a new report regarding the combat capabilities of Russia in the war in Ukraine. According to the report, the Russian occupiers urgently try to involve in hostilities on Ukrainian territories the reserved vehicles from pre-positioned storages.

This war stock is actually the last chance for Russia to mitigate the catastrophic losses in fighting against the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But the war reserve stock of the Russian military machinery fleet was completely embezzled by their own corrupted authorities.

In particular, the occupiers are deploying a repair and maintenance base at the Klimovo Air Base of the Bryansk region (35 km from Ukraine's border). The repair brigades are trying to reinstate a large number of vehicles that arrive from the stocks. The condition of these vehicles is 'extremely unsatisfactory,' which makes it impossible for use on the battlefield. The machinery is robbed of optical devices and electronics containing precious metals.

For instance, only one of ten 'restocked' tanks is in a more or less operational state in the 4th Tank Division of the Russian Federation. The rest of the tanks are completely dismantled. Some of them even lack engines.

The plans of replenishment of the military equipment on the frontlines were, in fact, thwarted. According to the information available to Ukrainian intelligence, the commander of the 13th Regiment of the 4th Tank Division shot himself.
