Ukrainian Forces Shot Down russian Su-25 Attack Aircraft on Avdiivka Front

The military pointed out that the occupiers have yet to grasp the futility of flying in Ukrainian airspace, hence "they will continue to fall"

The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, named after Major General Marko Bezruchko, reports that Ukrainian forces have successfully brought down a russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Avdiivka sector.

"The falling of russian aircraft continues! Once again, the exceptional work of the 110th Brigade's anti-aircraft gunners is evident. Today, we successfully targeted another Su-25," the statement reads.

Note that on May 4th, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade had successfully downed a russian Su-25 attack aircraft in Donetsk Oblast.

The Su-25, a Soviet-era subsonic attack aircraft, is designed to provide ground troop support and engage targets. It comes equipped with aircraft cannons, bombs, unguided air-to-surface missiles, and guided air-to-air missiles.

According to published data, the estimated cost of one Su-25 aircraft is approximately $11 million.

Earlier Defense Express reported that russian occupiers lost their Su-25 aircraft due to Ukrainian warriors.
