Operators of Ukraine's 411th Regiment disrupted russian armored attacks, striking multiple tanks and armored personnel carriers on a key frontline direction

Operators of Ukraine's Yastruby 411th Unmanned Systems Regiment have struck multiple russian tanks and armored personnel carriers during fighting on a key frontline direction. Footage of the combat work was released on February 19 via the regiment's official channel.

According to the unit, russian forces attempted to conduct mechanized assaults using tanks and armored vehicles in an effort to break through Ukrainian defenses. Such tactics typically rely on speed, armor protection, and concentrated firepower to overwhelm defensive positions.

However, coordinated drone operations enabled Ukrainian forces to detect and engage the advancing equipment before it could achieve tactical success. The regiment reported that its operators were able to promptly identify and accurately strike the enemy vehicles, disrupting the assault.

The statistics released by the regiment underscore the intensity of operations. In February alone, Yastruby operators conducted 3,348 combat sorties and hit 1,170 targets. This reflects both the high operational tempo and the scale of drone integration into frontline combat.

Such sortie numbers suggest sustained surveillance coverage combined with continuous strike missions. The ability to maintain persistent aerial presence increases early detection rates and reduces the survivability of advancing armored columns.

As Defense Express previously reported, Ukraine's National Guard has reported a successful deep-strike operation targeting russian heavy weaponry in the rear areas of Luhansk region. The operation was carried out by the Lasar's Group, which struck 13 pieces of military equipment hidden far behind the line of battle contact.
