Ukrainian Drone Strikes Hit Krasnodar Oil Refinery and russian Military Assets

Ukrainian forces carried out a series of precision strikes overnight on January 26, targeting a russian oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban and multiple military and logistical positions across temporarily occupied territories

On the night of January 26, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted precision strikes on key infrastructure at an oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Krai, russia. Several other russian military and logistical targets were also hit, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The refinery has an annual processing capacity of over 4 million tons of oil and plays a critical role in supplying russia's armed forces.

"Drone strikes on the refinery's territory and explosions in the target area have been recorded. Preliminary reports indicate that elements of the primary oil processing facilities were damaged," the statement said.

In addition, Ukrainian forces struck russian logistics warehouses in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk city and Solodkovodne village in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian strikes also targeted a drone control point near Velyka Novosilka (temporarily occupied Donetsk region), as well as concentrations of russian forces in Yunakivka (temporarily occupied Sumy region) and Kolisnykivka (temporarily occupied Kharkiv region). Casualties among russian personnel are being confirmed.

"Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to take decisive actions to undermine the military-economic potential of the russian occupiers and compel russia to halt its armed aggression against Ukraine. More updates will follow! Glory to Ukraine!" the General Staff concluded.

As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian forces conducted a series of precision strikes overnight on January 22, targeting russian fuel logistics, air surveillance assets in Crimea, and rear-area military infrastructure.
