Operators from Ukraine's 63rd Brigade have destroyed russian BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system in a strike that triggered an enormous secondary explosion.
The brigade released footage of the attack, showcasing the destructive effect of hitting a rocket launcher carrying a full ammunition load.

According to the brigade, the Grad was engaged by Ukrainian strike drone, which successfully hit the launcher before it could be employed against Ukrainian positions.
The impact ignited the rockets stored on board, producing a chain reaction that resulted in a catastrophic detonation.
The secondary explosion was so powerful that virtually nothing remained of the launcher. Video published by the brigade shows debris scattered across the area, with only a single wheel reportedly left intact after the blast.
The BM-21 Grad system remains one of the most widely used artillery systems in the russian military.
Capable of firing a salvo of 40 rockets in seconds, it is designed to saturate large areas with explosive fire and has been extensively employed throughout the war against Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements near the front line.
