Ukraine's Security Service, working in coordination with the country's Defense Forces, has reported another long-range drone operation targeting both russian military and strategic energy infrastructure. According to the agency, the attacks damaged two russian patrol ships in temporarily occupied Crimea while also inflicting significant damage on one of russia's largest oil refineries deep inside the country.
The maritime strike targeted the port of Kerch, where two Project 10410 Svetlyak-class patrol vessels, Balaklava and Kerch, were reportedly damaged by Ukrainian drones. The ships belong to russia's Federal Security Service Coast Guard and have been used to patrol the waters around Crimea.

The Security Service noted that both vessels had participated in securing the Crimean Bridge, a strategically important logistics route connecting russia with temporarily occupied Crimea. The bridge remains a high-value military asset, supporting the movement of troops, equipment, and supplies for russian forces operating in the south Ukraine.
Beyond the maritime operation, Ukrainian drones reportedly struck the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl, located more than 700 kilometers from Ukraine's state border.
According to preliminary information, four RVS-2000 crude oil storage tanks were damaged, causing an oil spill, while two of the tanks caught fire. The agency also reported damage to the refinery's key ELOU-1 and AVT-3 processing units, where additional fires broke out following the strikes. At least six explosions were recorded across the facility, with fires erupting in four separate sections of the plant.
The Yaroslavl refinery is among russia's five largest oil-processing facilities, with an annual refining capacity of nearly 15 million metric tons of crude oil. It produces gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and other petroleum products that supply central russia, including the Moscow metropolitan area, making it an important component of the country's fuel and logistics network.
