Ukrainian Anti-Aircraft Gunners Down Enemy Su-25 in Donetsk Region

Ukrainian military forces shot down a russian Su-25 aircraft on Sunday, July 7, that was attacking the positions of Defense Forces units

Anti-aircraft forces of the separate mechanized brigade named after Lieutenant General Marko Bezruchko shot down a russian Su-25 aircraft, according to the Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops.

It is known that the enemy aircraft was shot down on the Pokrovsk direction in Donetsk region.

The Khortytsia military group reported that the Ukrainian anti-aircraft troops have successfully brought down another Su-25 attack aircraft, which is currently ablaze in the Ukrainian Donbas steppes.

The Su-25 is an armored subsonic ground-attack aircraft designed for direct support of ground troops over the battlefield day and night under visual target conditions, as well as for the destruction of targets with specified coordinates around the clock in any weather conditions.

As Defense Express reported on June 28, the National Guard of Ukraine precisely shot down a russian Su-25 aircraft with the Igla MANPADS.
