In the morning of June 28, the General Staff reported the downing of another russian aircraft. Later, the National Guard of Ukraine clarified that russian Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down in Donetsk region using the Igla MANPADS. A video of the aircraft’s destruction was also released.
The guardsmen identified russian Su-25, known as the Rook, during a combat mission.

“The combined crew of the 31st Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine’s Igla MANPADS acted swiftly and professionally. The Su-25 attack aircraft was downed with an accurate shot,” the National Guard of Ukraine reported.
