Ukrainian Air Force Unveils Footage of Bridge Destruction in Kursk Region

On August 16, in the Kursk direction, a bridge over one of the rivers in the region was destroyed

"The Air Force aviation is actively participating in combat operations on the Kursk direction," wrote Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.

He noted that Ukrainian pilots are executing precise strikes on enemy strongholds, equipment concentrations, and key logistical centers and supply routes.

"I extend my gratitude to the pilots and all those supporting the aviation's combat missions," he added.

Earlier, on August 16, russian Telegram channels reported that Ukrainian forces had destroyed a key logistical bridge over the Seym River near the village of Glushkovo in the Kursk region.

A section of the Glushkovsky district is now effectively isolated from the rest of the Kursk region, with all bridges destroyed and the only evacuation route being across the river.

The 205th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the russian federation has expressed concerns that 700 russian soldiers could be at risk of encirclement.
