That is according to a statement of the Defense Intelligence of Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine notes the russians foresee the quick liberation of the right-bank part of the Kherson region by the Ukrainian Defenсe Forces and are preparing a series of terrorist attacks on this territory. In particular, the Kakhovka reservoir and the aggregates of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant (HPP) come under the threat of destruction.

"In addition, the detonation of the dam was planned in advance – the main mining works were carried out back in April. During the current week, the floodgates and supports of the Kakhovka HPP were additionally mined. There are two military tented vehicles ‘Kamaz’ without drivers have been placed on the dam. Both cars are fully loaded with boxes of explosives," the statement reads.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine is convinced that "the terrorist state is deliberately plotting terrorist attacks that will lead to catastrophic consequences."
"If these plans are implemented, dozens of Ukrainian settlements, including Kherson, will be affected by the disaster. In this case, the scale of the ecological catastrophe will go far beyond the borders of Ukraine and affect the entire Black Sea region," Ukraine’s Intelligence stressed.
It should be noted that threats to blow up the Kakhovskaya HPP are a reaction of russian ccommand to the impotence of one's own army, the realization of the impossibility of maintaining a bridgehead on the right bank of the Dnieper.
A possible terrorist attack by Russia at the Kakhovskaya HPP is tantamount to the use of weapons of mass destruction, and the world should treat and react to it in the same way.
