General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released a regular operational report regarding the situation on the Ukrainian frontlines as of 06:00 (Kyiv time, EET). Here are the key points:
Russian occupiers renewed their assault on Mariupol port city in eastern Ukraine. With the support of aviation, they carry out another offensive on the Azovstal steel plant, which has a large network of underground facilities with Ukrainian defenders and civilians hiding from shelling. The main russian efforts are concentrated on the blocking of Ukrainian units there and their full elimination.

Some remaining servicemen of russian 38th Motorized Rifle Brigade refused to further participate in military operations in Ukraine after the rotation from the battlefield to the replenishment zone. The reason is that Ukrainian defenders inflicted significant losses on the brigade's units a couple of days ago. The "refusers" are waiting to be returned to the russian federation.
Units of the 2nd Army Corps of Southern District 8th Army currently stationed in the Luhansk region suffer from bad morale. They are not well-equipped as well: have problems with arms and protective equipment; they are not ready for performing set tasks.
