Electro Optic Systems announced the remote weapon system (RWS) supply to Ukraine worth $80 million.
“EOS’ Defense Systems business has secured the contract with SpetsTechnoExport, a Ukrainian state-owned foreign trade enterprise, to supply up to one hundred of its heavy RWSs to Ukraine, including spares and related services,” the company reports.

The type of the system is not disclosed. But Electro Optic Systems has 4 types of RWS and only one of them is heavy – the R800S gimbal RWS.
It mounts the Bushmaster Mk44S 30x173-mm cannon and has mounting points for ATGM, SAM and additional effectors.
