Ukraine has received industrial 3D printers capable of printing parts for equipment on the battlefield

This was announced by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, William LaPlante, as reported by Voice of America.

According to the official, Ukrainians completed training on using these printers last week.

"Finally, last month we delivered these industrial 3D printers to them in Ukraine, and their training on operating this printer concluded last week... they can print all their parts on it," the Pentagon representative said.

According to him, the arrival of these printers "completely changes the game" because they expedite the process and open up new possibilities.

"You can do amazing things with 3D printing, not just because of the speed. You can actually produce parts that you couldn't manufacture in normal circumstances...Now they have all the technical data packages," William LaPlante said.
