The General Staff of Ukraine announced that on the night of April 10, Ukrainian military successfully struck three russian air defense missile system positions in temporarily occupied Crimea using long-range weaponry.
A division of russian S-400 air defense system near Dzhankoi was targeted, along with two divisions of the S-300 air defense system near Chornomorske and Yevpatoria.

Notably, russian air defense failed to intercept any of the missiles launched. Following the strikes, radar operations in the targeted areas ceased, indicating highly effective strikes that paralyzed all three air defense systems. Additionally, there were reports of ammunition detonations at the locations where the S-300 and S-400 systems were hit.
It is important to highlight that reports of successful strikes on russian air defense missile systems, particularly the S-400, have been increasingly frequent.
For example, in April, russian S-400 system was hit at an airbase in temporarily occupied Dzhankoi, proving ineffective against ballistic missiles. The recurrence of such strikes in this area suggests that russia has yet to address its previous vulnerabilities.
The S-400 systems have also been destroyed at much shorter distances. On May 22, a system near Mospyne in Donetsk region, 40 km from the front line, was hit. Subsequently, information emerged about another destroyed S-400 system, this time 60 km from the front line.
Earlier this month, images surfaced showing destroyed S-400 system in Belgorod region, clearly depicting the damage to the system’s radar caused by GMLRS missiles.
