Operators of the 115th Brigade targeted and eliminated russian armor and bunkers on the Zaporizhzhia axis

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Ukrainian defenders once again demonstrated the effectiveness of heavy strike drones in nighttime operations. A crew of the Vampire drone from the 1st Battalion of the 115th Territorial Defense Brigade successfully destroyed russian T-72 main battle tank along with several enemy bunkers.

The Brigade reported the results of this operation, praising the crew for their "precise and vivid" performance. The strike was carried out at night, when russian troops often rely on fortified positions and heavy armor to cover their movements.

According to the 115th Brigade, the Vampire drone's operators executed their mission with pinpoint accuracy. Each strike hit its intended target, ensuring maximum damage to the enemy while avoiding unnecessary ammunition expenditure.

The destroyed T-72 tank is particularly significant. Despite being one of russia's most widely deployed tanks, it remains vulnerable to modern drone warfare, especially during night operations when visibility is low and surprise is on Ukraine's side.

In addition to the tank, Ukrainian defenders also eliminated multiple enemy bunkers. These positions are often used by russian troops to conceal personnel and equipment. The strikes not only inflicted direct losses but also reduced the occupiers' ability to defend their lines.

The 115th Brigade emphasized that night hunting missions with heavy drones are becoming increasingly common and effective. The combination of stealth, precision, and destructive power allows Ukraine to erode russian fortifications and armored strength without risking direct clashes.

As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian defenders have eliminated one of russia's most destructive battlefield weapons. On the Zaporizhzhia front, fighters of the 102nd Separate Brigade destroyed russian TOS-1 Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system.
