Now the Defense Forces of Ukraine have another maritime unmanned platform in their arsenal. This new development was presented at the Black Sea Security Forum 2024 in Odesa. This is an unmanned boat called Stalker 5. This was reported by Dumskaya online media.

The cost of one such drone is 60 thousand euros (about 64.3 thousand dollars). The range of this drone is 600 km, and the gasoline engine allows it to reach a speed of about 75 km/h, with a cruise speed of about 55 km/h. It is 5 meters long and 1.2 meters wide.
The weight of the warhead of this new surface drone is 150 kg. The Stalker also has a special compartment in the hull that can be used to transport provisions, necessary equipment, etc., "to islands or coastal areas where the Defense Forces of Ukraine are located."
In addition, the Stalker can also be used for reconnaissance and coastal patrol in maritime and riverine border areas. The communication to the platform control is based on Starlink.
It is worth recalling that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have a number of different surface unmanned platforms in service, such as Sea Baby, Magura V5, etc. They play an extremely important role. First and foremost, they destroy russian Black Sea Fleet. At the same time new weapons are constantly being improved and tested.
