Servicemen of the Separate Artillery Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine have demonstrated the training of crews on the Zuzana 2 self-propelled howitzers. The transfer of these advanced systems to the National Guard was previously announced by Commander Oleksandr Pivnenko.
During the training, crews utilized standard M107 high-explosive fragmentation shells filled with TNT. Interestingly, data from Slovak manufacturers reveal that the range of the M107 shell remains consistent on barrels of both 39 and 52 calibers. This finding underscores that the longer barrel, typically associated with increased range, offers minimal advantage when firing this particular type of ammunition.
