The Ukrainian military possesses hundreds of captured russian weapons in the arsenal and actively employs them in combat. ArmyInform showed how the Armed Forces of Ukraine effectively destroy the enemy using captured 152 mm D-20 gun-howitzer.

“It has been a productive week, as we successfully targeted three enemy ammunition depots and personnel clusters. This has significantly boosted the morale of our unit” Bartender said.
The commander emphasizes that the primary targets for this artillery piece include enemy clusters of armored and automotive vehicles, as well as bunkers and live forces of the russian army.
At the same time, it is important to note the rarity of the russian D-20 howitzer in both its role as a target and as a captured trophy. These conclusion is derived from the information gathered by the Oryx.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the occupiers have lost a total of 13 of their 152 mm D-20 gun-howitzers, with 11 units destroyed or damaged.
According to Oryx, as of today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have two captured D-20 gun-howitzers.
