The Situation Remains Challenging: High Combat Intensity and Enemy's Extensive Use of Armored Vehicles and Guided Aerial Bombs – CinC Syrskyi

Specifically in the Kharkiv sector, the russian troops are focusing their main efforts. However, invaders are facing substantial losses and have not achieved success

Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, provided updates on operations in the active combat zones in the Kharkiv and Kupyansk sectors.

He also noted that the russian military persists in its offensive maneuvers, concentrating primarily on the Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Kupyansk, and Kharkiv fronts. Additionally, it is conducting aggressive assault operations in Vovchansk and the periphery of Chasiv Yar, aiming to seize and assert control over these two locations, declared Syrskyi.

On other fronts, the enemy is conducting offensive actions aimed at stretching the active frontline, encircling Ukrainian forces, and preventing their redeployment to other areas of combat.

Overall, the situation remains challenging due to the high intensity of combat operations and the widespread use of armored vehicles by the enemy, as well as guided aerial bombs.

Specifically in the Kharkiv sector, the russian troops are focusing their main efforts and attempting to advance towards Hlyboke-Lyptsi.

However, according to Syrskyi, invaders are facing substantial losses and have not achieved success.

"In Vovchansk, our main task at this stage is to hold back the enemy, inflict maximum losses on them, and gradually reclaim our territories," stated Syrskyi.

He also noted that The situation in the Kupyansk area is complex. The enemy is attempting to breach the defense of Ukrainian forces from two directions. Fierce battles are ongoing. The objective is to halt the enemy's advance and force them into a defensive position.
