According to the officials, the US is also sending artillery shells, 32 Stryker armored vehicles, as well as mortars, Hydra-70 missiles and 28 million small arms rounds.
In addition, the aid package will include Hornet drones, which are used mainly for surveillance on a battlefield.
It is noted that the weapons are provided under Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA), which will allow the Pentagon to quickly take ammunition from its own stocks and deliver them to Ukraine within a few days.
