Ukrainian warriors skillfully use attack drones to repel russian assaults

Ukrainian warriors of the legendary 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, which made a significant contribution to the liberation of Kharkiv Oblast in the fall of 2022, continues to defend its country and destroy russian occupiers.

This time, the drone operators of the brigade's Code 9.2 Aerial Reconnaissance Group used attack drones to repel another occupiers` assault at one of the frontline areas in Bakhmut sector. The video of the attack repelling is posted on one of the Telegram channels.

It is known that about 10 units of russian equipment were destroyed, including BTR-82A armoured personnel carrier as well as the latest T-90M Proryv main battle tanks.

russian T-90M Proryv main battle tank is upgraded version of the T-90 tank, firstly appeared in public in 2017. The main feature is modernisation of turret design with the new Kalina advanced fire control system, Irbis-K gunner's sight, 2A46M-5 new upgraded gun with 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun, UDP T05BV-1 weapon station with Kord 12.7 mm remotely controlled machine gun.

But despite the modernization, the tank has cons. The field of view on sights and observation tools for both tank commander and gunner of a T-90M is too narrow for close combat: 4° when zoomed 12x, and 12° at 4x zoom. In other words, at a 500-meter distance, about 100–150° are out of vision.

Earlier Defense Express reported that new russian trend of using BMP-3 vehicles as "assault guns" had worthed noting.
