The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced another successful cyber operation in russia. This time, the target was IPL Consulting, a company specializing in the implementation of information systems within russian industry.
Positioned as a cutting-edge russian enterprise, IPL Consulting claimed to assist institutions involved in designing and producing automotive and aviation components, heavy engineering, as well as manufacturing equipment and devices, including those serving the russian defense-industrial complex.

The cyber attack on IPL Consulting was executed by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine specialists who infiltrated the company’s internal network and systematically dismantled its entire IT infrastructure, encompassing over 60 terabytes, numerous servers and databases.
The financial toll of this extensive digital data loss to russia is currently under evaluation. This incident, coupled with the ongoing sanctions against russia, inflicts a significant blow on the adversary. Furthermore, the repercussions extend to numerous russian companies collaborating in the defense sector of russia.
