Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk reported the results of another terrorist attack by russian occupation forces on the territory of Ukraine on the night of May 26. russians used 45 airborne threats during this attack.
They included 14 air-launched missiles: two Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic ballistic missiles launched by MiG-31K aircraft from the airspace of Tambov Oblast; 12 Kh-101/X-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS from the airspace of Saratov Oblast.

There are no reports of any downed Kinzhal missiles, but the Ukrainian air defense has shot down all of the Kh-101/X-555 cruise missiles.
russian terrorists also used 31 Shahed attack UAVs. The launches were carried out from three areas: Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Yeysk in the russian federation, as well as from Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
It is noted that airborne threats were destroyed in nine Oblasts. It is also noted that the targets were shot down by anti-aircraft missile units, mobile groups, aviation, as well as by electronic warfare assets.
It is also worth noting that recent attacks have demonstrated a really high level of downing of Shahed attack drones.
Since May 17 russians have been conducting attacks with dozens of drones almost every day (except May 23-25):
- May 17 - 20 drones launched - 20 destroyed;
- May 18 - 13 drones launched - 13 destroyed;
- May 19 - 37 drones launched - 37 destroyed;
- May 20 - 29 drones launched - 29 destroyed;
- May 21 - 29 drones launched - 28 destroyed;
- May 22 - 24 drones launched - 24 destroyed;
- May 26 - 31 drones launched - 31 destroyed.
Thus, russian occupation forces launched 183 Shahed-type attack drones at Ukraine during seven attacks. But Ukrainian air defense shot down 182 drones, or 99.45%.
Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukrainian strike had forced russian ships to leave Crimea.
