The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces down multiple drones

Russia has begun deploying a “large number” of reconnaissance drones, targeting areas in Ukrainian territory, including energy facilities, according to Major Illia Yevlash, the spokesperson for the Air Force Command.

“We see that the enemy is using reconnaissance drones in large numbers,” Illia Yevlash stated.

He highlighted that “the russians are attempting to scout locations of various targets, including energy facilities. Following reconnaissance, they aim to strike these targets with ballistic or guided aerial missiles”.

The Air Force Command reported that on July 27, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed six russian drones in the south and east of Ukraine. These included two Lancet drones and Zala, Supercam and Orlan-10 reconnaissance drones.
