The 37th Separate Marine Brigade has recently been bolstered by a new delivery of French-made AMX-10RCR armored fighting vehicles. These versatile vehicles are now actively supporting operations in the Pokrovsk direction. To enhance their battlefield survivability, the vehicles have been upgraded with additional protection, including a foldable mesh system installed at the rear.
Despite being classified as light armored reconnaissance vehicles, the AMX-10RCR AFVs are being adapted for a different role on the front lines. According to the crew, these vehicles are primarily utilized as ersatz artillery, leveraging their 105 mm gun to deliver indirect fire support. This is evidenced by the use of standard 105 mm high-explosive shells, specifically the OE 105 F3 ammunition, which are effective for this purpose.
