The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) shared its analysis.
On November 1, South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul commented that "all possible scenarios are under consideration" in response to a question on potentially supplying weapons to Ukraine. This comes after reports of North Korean troops in russia.

Minister Cho added that South Korea will closely monitor North Korea's involvement and any “benefits” it receives from russia to shape its response.
The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR) reported on November 2 that russian forces have deployed an additional 7,000 North Korean personnel near the Ukraine-russia border since October 26.
According to GUR, these North Korean soldiers are equipped with 60mm mortars, AK-12 rifles, RPK/PKM machine guns, SVD/SVCh sniper rifles, Phoenix anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), and RPG-7 rocket launchers. They have also been supplied with night vision devices, thermal imagers, and other optical equipment.
