russian forces once again tried to strengthen their foothold on the Northern Slobozhanske axis, this time attempting to move artillery across a destroyed bridge using a truck. The risky maneuver underscored Moscow's desperation to push forward despite heavy Ukrainian resistance.

The plan was to deliver a cannon to frontline positions, but the attempt was doomed from the start. Driving a loaded vehicle across a blown-up river crossing left the russian crew exposed to reconnaissance and precision strikes.

The operation was monitored by the Magura 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Its reconnaissance company detected the movement and quickly coordinated with a neighboring Ukrainian unit to prepare a strike.

The Shark reconnaissance drone provided real-time intelligence, tracking the enemy truck and transmitting its position to strike operators. This seamless integration of surveillance and firepower once again proved critical on the battlefield.

Moments later, a precision drone strike from the partner unit hit the target. The result was the destruction of russian truck, its crew, and the artillery piece it was transporting.

By eliminating this convoy, Ukrainian defenders not only destroyed valuable russian equipment but also disrupted the occupiers' efforts to reinforce positions in the sector. The failed attempt further highlights the vulnerability of russian logistics under constant drone surveillance.

As Defense Express previously reported, russian forces attempted a rare mechanized assault near Kupiansk, deploying tanks and armored vehicles in an effort to seize the city's left bank. The attack followed what Moscow called "successful negotiations" in Alaska, which seemingly emboldened the occupiers to resume large-scale maneuvers.

The russian column advanced with two tanks, three MT-LB vehicles, and around 40 troops, moving in a push toward Kupiansk's eastern side. The assault marked the first attempt in months by russian forces to conduct such an operation in this sector.
