That is according to the Operational Command "South" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"A significant part of the missiles was destroyed by the air defense forces. The rest caused destruction to the port infrastructure, at least six residential buildings, including apartment blocks. Dozens of cars, facades and roofs in many buildings in the city were damaged, windows were broken. On one of the central squares of Odesa, the cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (moscow Patriarchate) was damaged by a russian missile. Two architectural monuments were harmed," the Command said on its official page on Facebook.

There are several shell craters in the city, outages of power lines, which may make traffic difficult.
In its turne, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarifies, that russian forces fired 19 missiles of various typeson Odesa Oblast while Ukrainian air defence forces have shot down nine missiles.
In particular, according to a statement of Ukraine’s Air Force Command on its official page on Facebook russian troops used a total of 19 missiles of various types:
- 5 Oniks cruise missiles from the Bastion coastal missile system (Crimea);
- 3 Kh-22 air-launched cruise missiles, launched from Tu-22M3 aircraft (Black Sea);
- 4 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles, likely from a submarine (Black Sea);
- 5 Iskander-K land-launched cruise missiles (Crimea);
- 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (Crimea).

Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed nine air targets: 4 Kalibr and 5 Iskander-K missiles, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
According to the National Police of Ukraine, one person was killed and 22 people, including four children, were injured.
"On the night of July 22-23, russian troops launched yet another massive attack on the territory of Odesa city and the region. As of 04:00, it was established that one person was killed and 22 people, including four children, were injured as a result of the enemy shelling of the city of Odesa," the National Police of Ukraine said on its official page on Facebook.
According to the police, civilian infrastructure objects, apartment blocks and private residential buildings, cars were damaged and destroyed as a result of the missile attack. Many houses have damaged facades and roofs, broken windows.
President of Ukraine,Volodymyr Zelensky, says on the case that Ukraine will definitely deliver a response to russian terrorists for their strikes on Odesa.
"Missiles against peaceful cities, against residential buildings, a cathedral... There can be no excuse for russian evil. As always, this evil will lose. And there will definitely be a retaliation to russian terrorists for Odesa. They will feel this retaliation,” Zelensky wrote on his official page on Facebook. in a caption to photos showing the consequences of the latest massive strike on the city.
He expressed his gratitude to all those who provide assistance to Odesa residents, and to all those whose thoughts and prayers are with Odesa.
"We will get through this. We will restore peace. And for this, we must defeat the russian evil," the President emphasized.
