July 31. During the nine days of shelling, Russia destroyed 180,000 tonnes of grain crops, 26 port infrastructure facilities, and five civilian vessels.

July 31. Four people were killed and 17 more were injured in a Russian attack on Kherson city today.

"The Russian army shells Kherson. The enemy hits the residential areas – Korabel district and the central part of the city suffered the most. As of now, we know about four people killed and 17 injured," Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak posted on Telegram.

He noted that "the youngest injured person is only 16 years old."

July 31. At about nine in the morning on July 31, Russians struck Kryvyi Rih with two missiles, hitting a residential high-rise and an educational institution.

"There are already 6 deaths in Kryvyi Rih. As of this hour, there are 75 victims, including six children," Lysak said.

July 30. The number of people injured in a Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro has increased to ten.

Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram.

"The number of those injured in the missile attack on Dnipro has increased to ten. This is a 14-year-old boy," Lysak said.

July 30. A 32-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man were killed and two people were injured in a Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia on July 29.

The Zaporizhzhia regional military administration said this in a post on Telegram.

"A 32-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man were killed in a missile attack by the Russian military on the regional center. Two women, aged 36 and 55, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, where they received the necessary medical assistance," the post reads.

In the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 77 attacks on 20 settlements in the region.

Seventy-three artillery shells hit Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Levadne, Novodarivka, Bilohiria, Malynivka, Kamianske, Stepove and other front-line villages.

July 30. On the evening of July 29, a Russian missile hit an educational facility in Sumy, as a result of which at least one person was killed and five were injured.

July 29. Russian terrorists have launched a missile attack on an educational institution in Sumy.

That's according to the Sumy regional military administration.

"Russian terrorists launched a missile attack on an educational institution in Sumy. All necessary services are working at the scene of the strike," the report said.

July 29. The Russian troops struck the populated settlements of five districts in Kharkiv region over the past day.

July 28. Environmentalists say that Russia's missile attack on the Prymorskyi and Khadzhybeiskyi districts of Odesa early on June 14 caused more than UAH 4.3 billion of damage to nature.

The State Environmental Inspectorate for the South-Western District said this in a post on Telegram.

In the Prymorskyi district, ecologists recorded the contamination of land plots with a total area of more than 9,000 square meters with construction waste and missile debris due to damage to the Shevchenkivskyi business center, a McDonald's restaurant, an Eva store, and the educational building of the Odesa Polytechnic National University.

July 28. During the first meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, participants discussed Russia's obstruction of free navigation in the Black Sea and condemned Russia's targeted attacks on the port infrastructure of southern Ukraine.

July 27. Last night Russian troops attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district seven times.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak on Telegram.

“All night long, the Russian army was shelling the Nikopol district. The enemy attacked the district seven times. About three dozens of heavy artillery shells struck the city of Nikopol, Pokrovske and Chervonohryhorivka communities,” Lysak wrote.

In his words, Russian attacks caused damage to an educational institution, administrative building, communications company, postal office and church. Two 2-storey houses and a household building were hit. Power transmission lines were seriously damaged.

July 26. On the eve of a Russian terrorist attack in Olenivka, Donetsk region, the occupiers did not let people out of the barracks and the windows in the building were firmly closed.

Before that, in other barracks, they had the opportunity to leave [the building] until bedtime any time, they could even sleep outside, but in this part of the barracks they were forbidden to even spend the night outside,” she said.

Klymyk noted that the Ukrainian soldiers asked to stay outside because it was very hot in the barracks.

"The windows were tightly closed it was very stuffy as there were many people there. But they were forbidden to do anything at all," said the MIHR representative.

Separately, she said that the day before people from this barrack had gone around all the places accessible to them and had not found anything suspicious.

July 26. On July 25, 2023, following Russian attacks, one of the main power transmission lines was damaged in eastern Ukraine.

July 26. The UN Resident Coordinator Office in Ukraine Denise Brown arrived in Odesa to document the consequences of the attack on the historic city center.

July 5. Two civilians have been injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram.

“On July 4, 2023, Russians injured two civilians in the Donetsk region, namely in Chasiv Yar and Dalnie,” Kyrylenko wrote.

July 5. The Cabinet of Ministers has already disbursed over UAH 4 billion to overcome the consequences of the terrorist attack at the Kakhovka HPP committed by the Russians.

"In general, the Government has disbursed more than UAH 4 billion to overcome the consequences of the terrorist attack. According to him, the Government allocated UAH 1.5 billion from the Liquidation Fund for the construction of water mains immediately after the Russians blew up the Kakhovka HPP dam. Works have already started.

July 4. The Russians struck the town of Pervomayskyi in Kharkiv region. According to preliminary data, 12 people were injured, five of them children, cars were destroyed and houses were damaged.

"Explosion rocked the town of Pervomayskyi around 13:35. According to preliminary information, a high-explosive projectile was fired. As a result, several cars caught fire in a parking lot. "The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine continues to record damage to cultural infrastructure in Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression. Thus, as of June 26, 2023, 1,582 cultural infrastructure objects, excluding monuments of cultural heritage, suffered damage. Of them, almost a third (585) were destroyed," the Ministry’s press service reports.

Over the past month, the total number of affected cultural infrastructure objects increased by 62, most of which are in Kherson region (25 objects or 40%).

Cultural infrastructure in Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions suffered the greatest losses and damages.

In total, 755 club facilities, 598 libraries, 84 museums and galleries, 26 theaters and philharmonics, and 119 art education institutions were damaged and destroyed in 222 territorial communities across Ukraine, accounting for 15.1% of the country’s territorial communities.

The Ministry emphasizes that almost the entire territory of Luhansk region and significant parts of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions are still under temporary occupation, which makes it impossible to estimate the exact number of cultural infrastructure objects damaged during military operations and occupation.

July 3. Russia hit Sumy city four times with Shahed 136 drones today. One person was killed, 16 more were injured. The Sumy Regional Military Administration wrote this on Telegram.

“Today at 10:49, the center of Sumy was hit four times with Shahed 136-type UAVs. As a result of the attack, an administrative building and two apartment blocks were damaged,” the report says.

July 3. Writer Victoria Amelina, who was injured during the Russian attack on Kramatorsk on June 27, died in the hospital.

July 2. A tractor driver was injured during field works in the Kherson region’s Posad-Pokrovske, following the blast of an explosive device that had been left by Russian invaders.
