russian propagandists claim that during the battles in the Kursk region, their troops are using the Tor-M2KM SAM system mounted on a KamAZ truck chassis. As we can see from the image, this system was located on a hill, probably for more effective target detection.
According to russians, this SAM system had a camouflage color typical of the Armed Forces of Armenia, as well as was intended for export to Armenia's army.

russians also note that in 2024, Armenian government officials repeatedly stated that russia had not fulfilled its obligations to supply equipment and weapons. This led to the final liquidation of the separatist entity in Nagorno-Karabakh.
As Defense Express, we would like to draw attention to the following points. It is worth noting that this is not the first instance of russians using Tor systems on KamAZ chassis to provide air defense.
For example, we can recall that this SAM system was spotted in temporarily occupied Crimea in July of this year as part of air defense near Sevastopol.
This story about the use of the Tor system intended for Armenia aligns with the trend of Russians using equipment and weapons initially meant for export contracts.
It is also worth recalling that in December 2022, russians took 152-mm shells for the Msta-S howitzer from Azerbaijan to fight against the Defense Forces of Ukraine. At the same time it became known that the russian federation was using "Iraqi" Pantsir-1S system.
Earlier Defense Express reported that russian army's biggest truck supplier, KamAZ, had declared multi-million financial losses.
