In Novorossiysk, russia's Black Sea Fleet remains a top target for Ukrainian forces. the spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Captain 3rd rank Dmytro Pletenchuk told this on the air of Espreso TV.
According to him, among the most important targets that have already been destroyed in Novorossiysk are russian Kalibr cruise missiles carriers. They continue to pose a serious threat to Ukraine.

"We can identify the main targets destroyed in Novorossiysk—these are the Kalibr missile carriers. They are a major threat and a primary target because they continue to launch missiles at Ukraine," Pletenchuk emphasized.
He noted that russian forces continue to use Novorossiysk as a base for launching strikes against Ukraine.
"Last month, there were three shelling incidents from the Novorossiysk base. They need to be flushed out of there because they are no longer operating at sea," the spokesman stated.
According to Pletenchuk, the russian Navy's situation in the Black Sea remains difficult. In fact, russian ships have no place that could be called completely safe.

"There is no longer a safe place for the russian navy in the Black Sea. A key factor is that they cannot properly maintain their fleet because entering a dry dock or remaining moored for an extended period would immediately make them an easy target, " he explained.
At the same time, russian ships venturing out to sea also face significant risks from Ukrainian weapons.
"Going out to sea means facing drones, Neptune missiles, and other threats. That's why they need to stay at the base and try to survive there. Going out to sea is out of the question right now. Unfortunately, the air force is still operating there," Pletenchuk added.
