In addition, coastal defense positions were seen near the road and railroad lines.

Partisans reveal coordinates of the place where the howitzers are stored: 45.21416458690487, 33.36806731907246.
The aforementioned 122-mm D-30A (2A18M) howitzer was designed to perform the following tasks:
- to destroy or suppress manpower in the open space or while staying in field type shelters such like trenches or dugouts;
- to destroy or suppress infantry firepower;
- to destroy pillbox as well as other field-type structures;
- to make passages in minefields and barbed wire;
- to counter enemy artillery as wellas as combat armored vehicles.
