Ukrainian troops from the 3rd Brigade have disabled a rare russian Impulse-M tracked robotic platform near Kamianka, the 16th Army Corps reported on August 14.
The target was struck by FPV drones operated by the Hatilo Battalion. The brigade released footage showing the attack on russian ground robotic system.

According to the Ukrainian military, Impulse-M system is not a common serial piece of russian equipment. The platform is designed as a modular base that can be adapted for various missions, including transportation, mine-laying, air defense, and other specialized systems.
The Impulse-M is a tracked robotic platform developed to carry different payloads while operating without a crew inside the vehicle. Its modular design allows the same basic platform to be configured for different battlefield roles.
The russian developer also claims that the system is protected against electronic warfare and can move autonomously along a pre-programmed route. The platform reportedly uses elements of artificial intelligence to support its autonomous navigation capabilities.
Such capabilities are intended to make robotic systems less dependent on direct operator control and potentially allow them to perform missions in areas exposed to Ukrainian fire. However, the destruction of the Impulse-M system demonstrates that advanced technology does not necessarily translate into battlefield survivability.
The Ukrainian military said the robotic platform encountered experienced operators from the Hatilo Battalion, who used FPV drones to disable it.
