In a new video that spread over the web we can see that Ukrainian forces managed to destroy a russian Z-STS armored personnel carrier for the first time since the war started. This unique reincarnation of the Soviet BTR-152 is also widely known as the "Ahmat" vehicle.
This is the first time this APC is seen in Ukraine, and as we can see the debut was a failure. The title "Ahmat" points to the fact that vehicles of this type are produced by the "Remdizel" plant exclusively for the units subject directly to Ramzan Kadyrov, the infamous governor of the Chechen Republic in the russian federation. As we know, his forces formally belong to the Rosgvardia internal military force.

It is unlikely that the "Kadyrovites" engaged in combat against Ukraine’s regular army on their own will. They rather were deployed to play the role of the so-called "barrier troops", that russians use to prevent their own soldiers from fleeing the battlefield in the Kherson region of Southern Ukraine.
According to the General Staff of the AFU, the total number of troops deployed there to shoot in the back of russians was about 1,300. Apparently, some of them got lost in unfamiliar surroundings and accidently encountered the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The aftermath of this encounter was quite predictable. And speaking of the "Ahmat" vehicle they were using, it looks like there are some serious problems with anti-mine protection of this carrier, judging by the nature of the damage.
